With a formal education concentrated in Interior Design and Set Design, for years I have worked as a production designer, art director and interior designer. While I am still passionate about creating beautiful spaces, I have decided to take a hiatus and focus on family.

With the decision to cut back on work, we have had to make some decisions to scale back our lifestyle. We have been saving for our dream home for a couple of years and with amazingly supportive parents, decided to move in with them to be able to save more as we are just a few months away from our goal. We are spending less but loving life more and with some smart shopping, we are able to continue to live our best life on a budget, not sacrificing style, health, or experiences.

I believe that simple is beautiful; functional is essential, and so I strive to create spaces, compositions, meals and experiences which serve a purpose, tell a story, and enhance life.  

Highlights on my resume include TBS, CNN, Cartoon Network, HGTV, DIY, Discovery Network, Animal Planet, A&E and most importantly wife and mother.
